INT. AUDIENCE ROOM - GRANADA - DAY
We start on a mans elegant slipper. He is seated in a
splendid chair. Moving up the stocking leg, we pass the
garter of Castile, coming to rest on a pair of delicate
hands. His fore finger impatiently plays with a large
topaz ring. Over this, we hear
The dense, lush rain forests of the eastern slopes of the Andes, the place known as "The Eyebrow of the Jungle". Ragged, jutting canyon walls are half-hidden by the thick mists.

1 INT. A STUFFY MANSION--A NIGHT ABOUT FORTY YEARS AGO 1
The viewer floats through an overbearing mansion and
up its sweeping staircase to where a stern man in
conservative dress is pacing back and forth, smoking a
cigarette in a cigarette holder. He is the FATHER. The
throes-of-labor pants and moans of the MOTHER can be
heard from down the hall.
Now, eerie Gaas and Goos chill th
